Built for peace of mind
Safe at every step
Every part of Oji is designed to keep young minds safe — from the first tap to the finished picture.
Cleaned inputs
Every prompt is scrubbed against a blocklist before anything is created.
Double-checked pictures
Each image is safety-checked before your child ever sees it.
Shared anonymously
Nothing shared says who made it or when — and you can turn sharing off entirely.
Parent gate
Settings sit behind a grown-up check kids can't tap past.
Built on reading science
The learning behind Oji
Oji isn't just play — it borrows the same tricks reading researchers and teachers swear by.
Words + pictures, together
When a word turns into a picture your child made, it's remembered two ways at once — as sounds and as an image. Researchers call this dual coding.
Their words, their world
Strong readers connect words to their own lives. In Oji the connection is literal: the words your child taps become the scene on their screen.
The words kids read most
A small set of everyday words makes up about half of everything children read. Oji turns recognizing them into the game itself.
Hear it, see it light up
Every word can be tapped to hear it aloud, and each story word lights up as it's read — the same follow-along technique teachers use.

Using Oji
Not at all. Emoji Mode is entirely picture-based for ages 3–4. Sight Word Mode helps ages 5–7 practice reading, with tap-to-hear audio on every word. Read about the learning science →
Any picture your child made can grow into one. Tap Add chapter and Keke makes the next picture and the next part of the story, in the same style and the same scene — as many chapters as they like. Each chapter is its own saved picture you can page through, and the story it tells is always free.
No app store needed. Open Oji in a browser, then add it to your home screen for a full-screen, app-like experience.
Safety & privacy
Yes. Oji is textless for kids, filters every input, safety-checks every generated image, and keeps all settings behind a parental gate.
No. Every price, plan name, and purchase sits behind the parental gate — kids never see a dollar sign, a plan name, or the word "token" anywhere in the app.
Only if sharing is left on, which it is by default. A shared picture can appear anonymously to other Oji families in the app, and in a public gallery at oji.kids that anyone can view without an account — no name, date, or account details are ever attached. You can turn it off anytime in parent settings, and your pictures leave the public gallery immediately. Read the full privacy policy →
Plans & tokens
Every picture, song, and new coloring page uses one token from your plan. From parent settings you can set a daily pace, or leave it open — there's no daily limit by default, so the token balance is the only real ceiling.
Oji's one and only unit of "making something": one token makes one picture, one song, or one coloring page Oji hasn't drawn before. Stories are always free and never use a token.
Oji is free to start, with paid plans and token top-ups for families who want more. See plans and pricing →
The free tokens are a one-time welcome gift and don't refill — but nothing your child makes is ever deleted, and you can add more tokens or move to a paid plan anytime.
Cancel anytime from parent settings — you keep access through the end of the period you paid for. Unused tokens from a purchase in the last 30 days are refundable on request. Read the refund policy →
